Frequently Asked Questions

What happens at the Disc Evaluation?

Your Disc Evaluation is a two-visit process designed to give you real answers before any treatment is recommended.

Visit 1 includes:

• Detailed history and symptom analysis

• Orthopedic and neurological testing

• Mechanical spinal assessment

• Bending stress X-rays (if clinically needed)

We do not begin treatment on this first visit.

We use this appointment to fully understand what is happening and determine whether you are a candidate for our type of care.

Visit 2 (Report of Findings) includes:

• Doctor review of your results

• Clear explanation of what is causing your symptoms

• Whether you are a candidate for care

• If you are, we outline a personalized corrective plan

Our goal is clarity — not rushing into care.

How is this different from physical therapy or regular chiropractic?

Most of our patients come to us after they have already tried:

• Physical therapy

• Injections or medications

• Basic chiropractic care

• Rest, exercise, or massage

Our clinic is designed to be a last-stop non-surgical disc clinic.

We focus specifically on:

• Disc herniations and bulges

• Sciatica and nerve pain

• Spinal stenosis

• Chronic or severe spinal conditions

Our approach combines:

• Advanced non-surgical spinal decompression

• Segment-specific spinal correction

• Class IV laser therapy

• SoftWave therapy

This is not maintenance or general chiropractic care.

This is structured disc-focused corrective care.

Will I receive treatment on the first visit?

No — and this is intentional.

We do not rush into treatment until we understand your condition.

Your first visit is strictly for evaluation and testing so we can determine:

• What is causing your symptoms

• Whether you are a candidate for care

• What the correct treatment plan would be

If you are a candidate, treatment typically begins after your Report of Findings visit.

This approach ensures care is precise, personalized, and appropriate.

Am I a good candidate for this type of care?

This evaluation is best for people dealing with moderate to severe spine or nerve-related symptoms, such as:

• Disc herniations or bulges

• Sciatica or nerve pain down the arm/leg

• Spinal stenosis

• Chronic neck or low back pain

• Pain that has not improved with other treatments

We may not be the right fit for:

• Minor aches or general stiffness

• One-visit or quick-fix seekers

• People unwilling to follow a corrective care plan

If you are looking for temporary relief, we may not be the right place.

If you want to address the problem properly, this is exactly what we do.

How long will the appointment take and what should I bring?

Plan approximately 45–60 minutes for your first visit.

Please bring:

• Any MRI or spinal imaging (if available)

• A list of current medications (if applicable)

• Comfortable clothing

After requesting your appointment, a team member will contact you to confirm your visit and answer any questions.
